Windows 8 and 8.1 has a built-in feature which delays the switching between LAN/WLAN with 40 seconds in order to not interrupt file transfers or other processes. Unfortunately this is not the subject in Windows 10. On my laptops the switching never happens on Windows 10. I have tested this on several HP laptops. Turn to desktop, you can use the right click key ( the key between window key and ctrl key - i don't know exactly its name) or Shift + f10 instead = right click menu will appear and press N key. Hi Khoa Excellent find. Thanks for posting. Thank You for using Windows 7. Window works from master switch only. In some cases the window may not work from its own switch, but the master switch can still put the window up or down. Todoey a cloud synced menubar checklist manager 1 1 9. In this case there is a good chance that the power window switch has failed and that the other window components are working properly. Windows work sometimes. Remove the window switch panel. Be careful not to scratch up the door panel while removing the window switch, as it often requires prying. Using a shop rag or piece of cardboard under your prying tool can help.
The scheduler maintains a queue of executable threads for each priority level. These are known as ready threads. When a processor becomes available, the system performs a context switch. The steps in a context switch are:
Save the context of the thread that just finished executing.
Place the thread that just finished executing at the end of the queue for its priority.
Find the highest priority queue that contains ready threads.
Remove the thread at the head of the queue, load its context, and execute it.

The following classes of threads are not ready threads.

Threads created with the CREATE_SUSPENDED flag
Threads halted during execution with the SuspendThread or SwitchToThread function
Threads waiting for a synchronization object or input.
Until threads that are suspended or blocked become ready to run, the scheduler does not allocate any processor time to them, regardless of their priority.
